He is 8 weeks old today- I can't believe how fast the time is flying by (I know this won't be the first time I say that!)
He is cooing and smiling regularly now- mostly at the bars on his changing table, and occasionally at me and Jonathan. We LOVE this little boy- he is really becoming quite the character!

PS. I thought I would share some parenting humor or interesting quip each week that I hear or experience:
Jonathan(hubby): "Baby poop now isn't so bad. When he first pooed, though... When you try to wipe it off, the poop just laughs at you."
(explaining meconium to some friends of ours w/o children)

LOL... I hated that stuff! So gross! Isn't it amazing how often you talk about poo now? And with anyone who will listen ;~)
